Sara Packer plays Queen Elizabeth in “Mary Stuart” one-act play

An Evening of Theatre You Don’t Want To Miss . . .
The MSA Theatre Department would like to invite you to a performance of Words & Music, an evening featuring songs, scenes, and monologues. Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Leonard Bernstein, Stephen Sondheim, and Brian Yorkey are among the wonderful composers represented.
The evening also includes a one act version of Friedrich Schiller’s play Mary Stuart. Mary Stuart portrays the dramatic final events of the imprisoned Queen of Scots, her very existence posing a threat, both personal and political, to her Protestant cousin, Elizabeth I. As Elizabeth hesitates over decreeing her rival’s fate, Mary pleads for a face-to-face meeting – but in the swirl of intrigue that surrounds both women, whom can either one trust?

Words & Music performs at the Marin School of the Arts Performing Arts Center, 625 Arthur Street in Novato on Friday and Saturday evenings January 24th and 25th at 7:00pm, with a matinee on Sunday, January 26th at 2:00pm. Tickets will be available at the door or you may purchase your tickets ahead of time by going to Brown Paper Tickets at www.brownpapertickets.com. Admission is $5 for students and seniors, $15 reserved, or $10 general seating.
Thank you for your support of the MSA Theatre Department. We look forward to seeing you at the show!
