A concert pianist with two degrees from Juilliard, John has created an interesting format in which he sings an original song, with a colleague accompanying him at the piano. Then he performs a solo piano transcription of the very same song. Audience reaction has been extremely enthusiastic; people find this kind of programming fascinating.
