Piano Concert by John Boyajy at Old First Church

John Boyajy

John Boyajy will be performing on Sunday, March 11th at 4:00 p.m. at Old First Church in San Francisco.

From John: I will offer you Robert Schumann’s Humoreske, a wild, impassioned, intimate and, as the name suggests, playful monument of the Romantic piano literature. It’s an incredible roller-coaster ride that I invite you to experience up close and personal in one of San Francisco’s most beloved concert venues. Folks for whom I’ve recently played sections of the Humoreske have been amazed by Schumann’s creativity and genius, and I think you will, too.

In addition, I’ll be playing the big Haydn E-Flat Sonata, No. 52, often considered his greatest (again, with distinctly humorous moments), and Arnold Schönberg’s six brilliant miniatures of his Opus 19.
